-5, Function of Heparin Sodium :

A- Used to prevent thrombosis and embolism, such as deep vein thrombosis, myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism, thrombotic phlebitis and postoperative thrombosis, etc.
B- Treatment of diffuse intravascular coagulation (DIC) caused by various reasons, such as bacterial sepsis, placental abruption, and for the DIC caused by malignant tumor lysis.
C- Can prevent the consumption of fibrinogen and other blood coagulation factor.
